Business Systems Analyst | Level III in Hartford, CT

 

Seeking a Business Systems Analyst to help formulate and document detailed procedures that will be carried out by Level 1 Security Operations personnel. This information will be leveraged by the Level 1 support staff upon receipt of pre-defined alerts and will help the staff determine triage protocol for each event. This individual will need to confer with personnel of the Information Security organization to analyze current operational procedures, identify potential improvements, and document detailed workflows. Additionally, they will analyze user requirements and procedures to help determine appropriate workflow procedures as we move from a largely manual process to an automated process. As part of this effort, the System Analyst will be expected to study existing workflows and system processes to evaluate effectiveness and suggest opportunities to improve production or workflow as required. 

Required skills: 
Security background preferred 
8 years in a business systems analyst or equivalent role 
Ability to work in a highly dynamic, flexible and collaborative environment 
Solid research and analysis skills 
Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and nontechnical individuals/areas
