Duration: 12 months contract
Job description:
· Should have hands on experience in handling Veritas NetBackup product & its features as for the latest release (Version 4 .x - Version 7.x)
· Should have hands on knowledge and experience in Implementing , upgrading, migrating and configuring Veritas server across heterogeneous platform
· Should have worked on multiple vendor product Devices used in backup Library, drives, medias, (IBM, SUN, HP, Quantum..),ACLS library, Data domain, VTL (IBM, EMC, NetApp..), ultrium 1to 6
· Should have configured the Monitoring tools for alerting and reporting backup ,hardware ,operational reports highlighting issues and the current status of the environment (ops manager ,BMC,..)
· Should be able to see logs and error messages, Analyze, resolve ,guide and take preventive action for the escalated issues related to product and devices hardware problems
· Provide recommendations to improve the backup/recovery infrastructure, and address/lead critical issues and root cause analysis\
Years of Experience:
Total: 6-10 Years of relevant IT experience
Relevant: Minimum of 5-8 yrs in Veritas Backup Administration / Support
