A BI architect with a primary focus of this position to provide technology leadership, architectural guidance, technological recommendations and reusable solutions that support the development and implementation of DW/BI solutions in BI
Requirements:
• Candidate must be experienced working in ETL based projects involving Informatica

• Must be fully versed in working with Informatica
• Must have an understanding of ERP business processes, data warehouse and BI concepts and ability to apply educational and practical experience to improvise business intelligence application
• Must be able to provide simplified and standardized solutions to achieve the business objectives.
• Ability to provide both innovative and improvement solutions to current and anticipated business challenges.
• Expert knowledge of data warehouse architecture
• Well versed with database administration tasks and working with DBAs to monitor and resolve ETL (Informatica) issues
• Well versed with SQL and MDX concepts.
• Independent problems solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interact positively with peer groups within IT and outside IT and management
Responsibilities:
• Provide support to end users of BI Applications from system analysis to BI/ ETL (Informatica) development and support.
• Use appropriate software development methodologies prescribed by the Client
• Interact with users to gather requirements from various departments and document business requirements; and to prepare functional specifications and mockup designs as necessary.
• Design and develop various Enterprise Business Intelligence Solutions including interfacing and integration with ERP systems of records, ETL (Informatica) design, Data modeling and database design, reporting and analytics solutions.
• Design data warehouse development and enhancement projects including data modeling, end to end solutions
• Troubleshoot data warehouse and BI issues using SQL development and querying tools (e.g. Toad), Provide production support and help resolve nightly ETL (Informatica) data & Cube refresh issues.
• Interact with local. remote development teams and other regional BI teams for production support
• Troubleshoot, debug and diagnose BI / ETL (Informatica) issues
• Develop and/or enhance ETL (Informatica) solutions - expert knowledge of Informatica and Oracle PL/ SQL programming required
• Provide performance tuning and enhancement of ETL (Informatica) processes, including supporting technical documentation
• Provide BI training to various business users and on new BI projects
