Job Description: SENIOR Business Analyst
As a Senior Business Analyst you will work directly with the client (business and IT team) to understand the needs, requirements and then support development of Business Intelligence products and ensure that they fit the requirements specified. They should be ready to tackle the most demanding assignments, from departmental DW/BI engagements to enterprise-wide business solutions implemented by cross-functional teams. Comprehensive experience in the Data Analytics and Business Intelligence space. Effective leader and communicator strong in project coordination, requirements elicitation, design and development of solutions with demonstrated success in numerous client delivery engagements. Experience working with executive management, business partners and technology teams, remote and offshore.

Mandatory: Strong Business Analysis skills, Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing concepts, Client-facing skills, Strong communication and probing skills. Ability to talk and guide teams to the right solution

Job Duties (include but are not limited to):
· Should Perform detailed Data Analysis to identify data sources, data gaps, redundancies & anomalies
· Ability to do fit/gap analysis of functional requirements for DWBI and Legacy source systems.
· Analyse data in the warehouse ETL/ report data mapping to meet client dashboard requirements.
· Conduct business analysis meetings to design and document ETL/business intelligence reporting solution
· Provide billable consulting support to achieve account objectives and production success. Services may include:
· Talking to business and IT teams to understand the project needs.
· Document needs, validate them and guide development teams at offshore and onsite on implementation
· Act as a bridge between development team and client business/IT team on clarifications and queries.
· Proactively propose functional solutions to client needs based on experience and knowledge
· Validate development team understanding and Validate that developed product matches to the requirements regularly
· Raise issues if seen and work to solution and correction
· Articulate well and focus on new opportunities for growth.
· Support data modeling, application development, technical product assistance and tuning to meet customer performance and functional requirements
· Specify business systems (inputs, outputs, data, human and automated interfaces) to meet information processing objectives.
· Contribute to knowledge capital via project documentation and best practice solutions
· Lead and Mentor off shore team
· Participate in sales activities, when appropriate
· Maintain and grow knowledge of BI functionality and technical skills
Job Requirements:
· Bachelors or equivalent degree in a business, technical or related field is required
· 7-8 years Development/Consulting or IT Development/ Consulting Experience
· Understanding of core Business Intelligence (BI)/data warehousing technology: Pentaho BI analytics RDBMS such as SQL Server, Oracle, Web, Client/ Server, and OLAP
· Business Intelligence development experience and programming experience preferable
· Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and business requirements
· Application knowledge of the following industries: Cable, Telecom
· Proven analytical and problem solving skills
· Experience with implementation methodologies
· Strong communication skills, both written and oral; Ability to build and deliver presentations to all levels of the business and effectively explain complex issues and concepts in simple, understandable language
· Ability to mentor and lead a team of consultants
· Ability to work under minimal supervision
· Effective oral, presentation, and written communication skills
