Job Purpose

The Software Engineer will be responsible for the development of a new Java desktop application. Candidate will have in depth knowledge and expertise with Java development applications and possess experience with all phases of the SDLC from initial requirements gathering through deployment and customer support.

 

Job Description

Must have 5 yrs Application Management, Development/Operational Support Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Experience building intuitive graphical user interfaces, integrating barcodes within reports Experience with databases (embedded databases), database design, Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL Basic of Project Management Basics about Software Security Basic understanding of operating system, network and infrastructure Knowledge of Software Development Tools for improving productivity and quality Ability to understand requirements and work independently with minimal supervision Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. Flexibility in scheduling with a willingness to work extra non-standard hours. Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team structure, but also independently. Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to meet agreed deadlines, with demonstrable Productivity (Incident Completions etc.) Required to work in a virtual and culturally diverse environment. Requirements Analysis, Analyzing Information , Database Management, Operating Systems, Innovation, Data Conversion, Data Modeling Fluent in English and Spanish (oral and written) preferred. .
