Duration: 12+ months

Daily Tasks will include but not limited to the following:

·         Develop Agency Network tools including Solarwinds NCM/NPM.

·         Design, test, and implement a broad range of new network tools solutions, migrations & upgrades for ITS Enterprise and remote sites.

·         Perform evaluations on software/hardware intended to be added or updated within the ITS Enterprise infrastructure or at

·         ITS remote sites to ensure network continuity/compatibility.

·         Provide technical support, analysis & troubleshooting for ITS staff, customers and their business partners.

·         Responsible for maintaining and implementation monitoring solution for UniteNY VoIP deployment.

·         Assist with the transformations of agencies networks into ITS monitoring tools.

·         Assist with network configurations and ensuring all network equipment is being backed up on a nightly basis.

 

Skills Needed:

·         48 months            Demonstrated experience with design, implementation and support of remote access solutions.

·         48 months            Demonstrated direct working experience with design, implementation and support of a multi-vendor network environments. Candidate should be proficient in configuration and support of Cisco and Nortel routers/switches and Juniper VPNs/firewalls,

·         48 months            Demonstrated direct working experience troubleshooting application issues using protocol analysis tools. (i.e. Wireshark ,Infinistream, Sniffer)

·         48 months                     Demonstrated direct working experience with design, implementation and support of Cisco wireless technologies, including both lightweight and autonomous 

·         48 months                   Demonstrated experience in design, implementation and support of Network monitoring tools (Solarwinds NCM/NPM)

·         48  months             Demonstrated direct working experience with design, implementation and support of WAN/LAN technologies, including Multicast, RIP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, Spanning Tree, LLDP and Link Aggregation protocols.

·         48 months               Demonstrated experience with design, implementation and support of Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention Systems

·         48 months             Demonstrated experience providing technical guidance and training involving the above applications, tools and models, etc.

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IS or equivalent. A copy of the Degree must be submitted with the Candidate Response.

·         CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) A copy of the Certificate must be submitted with the Candidate Response.
