• Adobe CS 5+, Microsoft Office, Visual Studio, Visual Design, Interactive Prototype, Wireframes, User Interface Design, Responsive Web Design, Mobile app design
Experience Required
• Expert in Adobe CS 5+, Microsoft Office, Visio
• Experience building interactive prototypes
• Experience using Visio and/or rapid prototyping tools
• Recent mobile web and/or app User Interface design experience
• Experience using iterative work processes
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office products
• Experience translating wireframes and interactive prototypes into polished user interfaces
• Web and mobile experience preferred, responsive design experience a plus
• Portfolio showcasing work examples such as web design, interface design, responsive web design, mobile app design, and basic user experience design methodology
• Produces several iterations of visual design artifacts throughout the design lifecycle
• Uses digital standards and style guides to ensure design consistency across the enterprise
Roles & Responsibilities
• Creates visual design concepts based on input from multi-disciplinary team
• Works directly with business teams and other User Interface team members to create rapid visualizations of business requirements during working sessions
• Creates high-level and detailed visual digital artifacts, such as high-level wireframes, interaction flows, detailed wireframes, screen specifications based on minimal direction
• Creates visual assets to be used in prototype development and application development
• Takes initial guidance provided by UX Lead and/or Interaction Designer and works independently or with peers to complete the work
• Understands target users' needs, tasks, and goals and applies that understanding to the work
• Develops user experience concepts and solutions through visualizations with moderate to minimal direction
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of hardware and software used in digital visual design production as dictated by department and business partner needs
• Demonstrates knowledge of company and department goals and strategy
• Demonstrates knowledge of State Farm Insurance and Financial Services products
• Possesses thorough knowledge of company compliance standards including brand, intellectual property, copyright and trademark
• Demonstrates and promotes customer service skills to build productive partnerships with business partners and other associates
• Uses digital standards and style guides to ensure design consistency across the enterprise
