This position is responsible for developing BI solutions using SAP BusinessObjects XI. The candidate will be a member of a dynamic enterprise team responsible for multiple concurrent projects across various business areas.
This position is responsible for developing BI solutions using SAP BusinessObjects XI. The candidate will be a member of a dynamic enterprise team responsible for multiple concurrent projects across various business areas. The candidate will perform all phases of the SDLC. The position requires advanced problem-solving skills to build and maintain complex, analytical BI solutions. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of data warehouse concepts. Core technologies utilized are SAP BusinessObjects XI Web Intelligence, Universes, Dashboards (Xcelsius), Crystal Reports 2008, and RDBMS such as Oracle 11g, MS SQL Server 2008+, and IBM DB2.
Specific Duties
1. Develop reports, dashboards, universes, and analytics using the SAP Business Objects XI tool suite (Web Intelligence, Universe, Dashboards (Xcelsius), and Crystal Reports 2008) for an enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) portal.
2. Develop complex Oracle analytical queries, views, and PL/SQL procedures and functions. Additionally, MS SQL Server and DB2 querying may be required.
3. Meet with end users and technical staff to gather and document requirements. Diagnose, analyze, troubleshoot and choose appropriate solutions to fix BI component and data-related issues, including query tuning when needed.
