Job/Position: Servicenow Consultant
Duration : 6+ Months
Location : Harrisburg, PA
Responsibilities:
§ Implement, Administer and support of our client's ServiceNow platform
§ Configure Workflow, Application UI and Customize ServiceNow applications, Perform minor enhancements requests to the client's ServiceNow instances, including changes to the user interface, system properties, foundation content, and modifications to existing workflow
§ Facilitate roll out of new applications and modules in ServiceNow Handle general updates and configuration changes/requests
§ Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions
§ Ensure latest release of ServiceNow application is implemented in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to client IT operations
§ Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools
§ Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible
§ Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, testing and production environments
Job Requirements:
§ Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in software engineering or related field
§ 3+ years implementing ITSM tools; demonstrated experience with Incident Management, Service Request Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management and other ITIL process areas
§ 2+ years working with ServiceNow
§ ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
§ ITIL v3 Foundation Certification and knowledge of ITIL governance and control processes and procedures
§ Experience leading and/or managing teams
§ Strong Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows Operating Systems
§ Working knowledge of Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JAVA Script, AJAX, CSS, HTTP/S, etc.)
§ Working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and Single Sign-On (SSO) Integration
§ Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, Perl, UNIX shell scripts)
§ Working knowledge of cloud concepts and architecture
§ Experience working with diverse teams both onshore and offshore
