Job Title - Java Web Developer

Location - , Washington, DC, 

 

Notes -

Candidates MUST be eligible for a Public Trust clearance - U.S. citizenship, or a green card or employment authorization document (EAD) status AND not have traveled outside the U.S. for a cumulative total of more than six months over the last five years.

 

This position will support and maintain a java-based web applications in either the middle tier or front –end. 

• Three to five years of demonstrated experience architecting, designing, and developing Java-based applications utilizing Spring, jQuery, JSON, AJAX, CSS3 technologies

• Versatility in developing server side components and user-interface components preferred

• Experienced in performance tuning of Java code for high volume data processing

• Experienced in interacting with the Oracle 11g/12c RDBMS

• Strong SQL skills

• Experience developing within the USPS technical environment preferred

• Knowledge of the USPS TSLC process and Agile methodology preferred

• Experienced in participating in requirement gathering and design sessions with business and/or end users

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Excellent oral/written communication skills

Familiarity with Service oriented architectures
