Role and Responsibilities
· Sr. Developer/ architect and Admin in Fortune 100 org.
· Design and implement architectures for web analytics solutions
· Design and develop reporting solutions
· The primary responsibilities of this role will be the support of the client's Program Management
· Assisting the Platform Team and Head of Development in creating the long-term technical vision for the store, and defining the strategy required to move there from the present state.
· Continuous Improvement: Supporting initiatives for process improvements and developing new processes for development, especially with a focus on agile software development.
Experience and Skills
· 7+ years of overall experience in developing solutions in the Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing space. Very good understanding of Date Warehousing concepts and technologies
· 4+ years of architecting, design and development experience with a focus on Web analytics and reporting using Adobe/Omniture Web tracking data
· Expert level understanding of Teradata or other Data Warehousing platforms. Very proficient in writing SQL queries and stored procedures
· Experience in working with Tag Management solutions. Very good knowledge of Omniture data sets
· Good understanding of the reporting tools like Business Objects, Tableau and other custom UI dashboards using HTML5, CSS and jQuery (Nice to have)
· Experience working with high volume E-Commerce websites.
· Additional consideration given to those with an understanding of data aggregation and event stream collection technologies along with big data architectures using Hadoop
· Design and develop proof of concept prototypes for the custom reporting applications
· Good communication skills - written and verbal. Ability to effectively translate business requirements to technical solutions & Strong analytical and problem solving skills
