Title: EDI Architect
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 6 – 9 months
Job description:
1. Plan and analyze business processes, identify problems and implement technical solutions.
2. Review with The EDI Development Manager technical design and tool sets to use for solutions for EDI work activity.
3. Provide high level estimates and detailed estimates for their work assignments.
4. Create Trading Partners in Commerce Manager or other related EDI products
5. Perform analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment tasks on projects assigned to them in the EDI area.
6. Develops interfaces with middle ware tools such as; MQ Series or Cyclone Toolset
7. Participate in code reviews and testing of other developers work products.
8. Identify technical issues and resolve them as it relates to level 2/3 support for the EDI area
9. Develops proper documentation on the processes and code that they have created or work that was created by someone else.
10. Uses visual source safe for proper source object control and follows check in/check out procedures established for the EDI environment.
11. Support specific corporate programs related to EDI such as operating system upgrades, product evaluations or prototyping of new processes.
12. Create functional and technical EDI/mapping requirements and specifications
Mandate: IBM WebSphere, EDI
Note: Experience with WTX will be plus
