We are looking for a Mainframe Functional Tester support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.

This is a 3-6 months Contract extendible Position based in Torrance, CA

 

Role: Mainframe Functional Tester

Location: Torrance, CA

Duration: 3-6 months Contract

Experience: 5+ Yrs.

 

Skill: Functional testing (Mainframe)

 

Job Description:

 

1.       At least 5 years of experience in Mainframe testing & STLC (Understand Testing requirements, Develop Test strategy & Test plan, Review test scenarios & scripts, Prepare Test Closure report,  Defect  management)

2.       Good knowledge in Mainframe technologies – JCL, DB2, IMS DB/DC and tools like File-Aid, Changeman

3.       Analysis of business requirements

4.       Co-ordinate Reviews with Business SME/User

5.       Prepare / review Test strategy, Scenarios, cases & Results

6.       Communicating status to business team

7.       Attend defect triage calls

8.       Manage risks & issues closely
