Direct Client Need - PHP Drupal Developer (CMS) - Houston, TX - 6+ Months
Qualifications Basic
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years in Information Technology.
Preferred
At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle.
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Mid to Sr level experience with doing enterprise level development using CMS frameworks like Drupal or Joomla.
Mid to Sr enterprise level PHP development experience.
Fundamental understanding of Computer Science principles; software development, design patterns, object oriented design, Extreme programming
Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS and JQuery.
Familiarity with version control and version management, preferable Subversion.
Familiarity with both Windows and Linux/Unix environment.
Knowledge of ITIL concept would be added advantage
At least 2 years of experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.
Understanding of life sciences domain regulations
Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
Analytical skills
Good communication skills
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
