Position: Java Front End Developer
Location: Birmingham, AL
Duration: 6+ months
Need someone w/ Backbone JS, Require JS (or JS MVS or MVC) AND JQuery JS
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform a full spectrum of Web development related tasks including design, application development and optimization, and unit testing.
- Perform server-side programming (primarily Java/JSP/DB2).
- Use HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop software applications.
- Makes changes, fixes, or enhancements to existing web applications.
- Perform web UI based performance tuning and optimization.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university.
- 2 + years Web technologies Java, JSP, Servlets, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript
- 2 + Basic Database/SQL Experience with DB2 (or similar) and Java Persistence
- Good foundation in Object Oriented Programming and familiarity with Design Patterns
- Experience in utilizing IDE tools such as Eclipse
- Knowledge/Experience of using CVS is a +
- Experience with ExtJS or Sencha required
