Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Stamford,CT

Duration: 6 months

 

 

Responsible for partnering with business/user group representatives to understand business processes and underlying informational and/or process automation needs, then translating those needs into formal, documented business requirements. May be responsible for prioritizing requirements based on business benefit/impact and cost. May be required to develop estimates and plan resource effort. May be responsible for identifying and tracking issues and risks related to project or system. May be responsible for fulfilling project management/governance responsibilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills; Decisive decision-making; Negotiation skills; Relationship management ; Prioritization skills; Project management lifecycle skills; Issue management resolution. (10+ years experience)

Position Comments:      The project is about creating MI for Operations. The candidate will need to conduct sessions within Operations, assist them in identifying KRI, KPI , document and obtain sign off. The candidate will be required to capture business and functional requirements from Operations, document and translate them for IT to work on. The candidate should be able to work in a project manager capacity where he will be accountable for planning, testing and implementation. He should be able to identify potential project risks and conduct regular status meetings to review project activities. The candidate should have prior experience working as a project manager. Knowledge of Operations MI on the market and banking products is preferred. Knowledge of lean is also preferred.
