·         Hands-on Developer to work on data warehousing and business intelligence projects.

Job Description:
Hands-on Developer to work on data warehousing and business intelligence projects. Candidate will be doing hands-on development using SAP Business Objects 3.1 XIR3.
 
Required skills:
·         Experience in creating & maintaining complex Business Objects Universes.
·         Should be able to understand join issues commonly faced in creating Universe.
·         Should be able to visualize a universe Schema design required to fulfill the Reporting needs
·         Experience in creating complex Web Intelligence Reports
·         Should have a sound knowledge of SQL concepts.
·         Should have a sound knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts
·         Must have great communication and interpersonal skills
·         Strong problem solving skills required
 
Responsibilities:
·         BO Universe design, development and maintenance
·         Reports design, implementation and maintenance using Business Objects.
·         Handle software life cycle management – promoting code to QA, Prod
·         Perform necessary testing, documentation
·         Work with US and India project teams and handle multiple projects at the same time
·         Work with Business users to help troubleshoot day to day issues faced
 
Additional skills that is good to have – but optional:
·         Hands on experience using Dashboard development tools like Qlikview/Xcelsius
·         BO admin activities like Managing Access rights on CMC for Users, Groups, Reports, Universes and Connections.
·         Experience in the Financial / Capital Markets Domain
