Job Description :

Here is the position that I would like to fill ASAP. It is a contract but not for a specific project so open needed. Previous contractor was here for over 2 years but ended up taking a fulltime position elsewhere. The person has to be self-starter and fast learner since there may not be much opportunity for knowledge transfer.  Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks

 

This person will join a team working on user experience, user interface, graphic design, and front end markup and scripting related to customer facing projects.

Responsibilities and Skills:

·         Developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions.

·         Excited and knowledgeable about HTML5 and CSS3, as well as the Adobe Creative Suite products, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

·         Solid understanding of web design fundamentals and in depth understanding of web standards

·         Well versed in XHTML and CSS mark-up.

·         Experience with CSS frameworks such as Twitter Bootstrap and an understanding of responsive design and mobile first.

·         Strong knowledge of client side scripting language JS, and JS libraries such as jQuery.

·         Strong knowledge of UX and UI, with skills in wireframing and prototyping.

·         Ability to take requirements, and effectively transform them into a user friendly website.

·         Ability to quickly convert wireframes and design comps into usable HTML templates.

·         General understanding of content management systems.

·         Work closely with Marketing to ensure a unified brand strategy.

·         Articulate, fast learner, and strong organization skills a must.

·         Version control.

·         Experience working with Visual Studio .NET and the .NET frame work.
