Position: Adobe CQ Developer
Location: Washington, DC
Project duration: 12months
(In-person or Skype is mandatory )
Job Description:
· Technical problem resolution, critical thinking around development approach, tradeoff resolution, code reviews/QA
· Establish, cultivate and expand relationships within client accounts
· Support the approach and delivery scope/effort estimation/team definition of future projects
· Translate client requirements into technical designs and architecture
· Design and implement customer engagement strategies to support multi-site, multi-channel, multilingual delivery environments
· Provide solutions for digital consumer experiences based on the foundational Adobe AEM/CQ product suite, including CQ, CRX/CRXDE, CQ WCM, DAM and Social Collaboration
· Offer solutions on top of the Adobe WCM, DAM and Social Collaboration modules
· Define implementation processes, quality gates and standards
· Define best practices to manage performance and scalability of the content management and content delivery solution
· Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management implementation
· Design efficient content models, security models, workflows and templates.
· Effectively communicate design to customers and present design options/considerations.
· Help to establish overarching program goals and objectives in the WCM program at a customer
· Develop CQ5 templates and workflows leveraging current CQ5 software releases using JPS/.ASPX; CQ5 Components/widgets, J2EE skill set.
· Adopt and utilize iterative/Agile methodology as needed or requested
Job Requirements: Desired Skills and Experience
· Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or related field
· 5+ years' experience in leading successful development teams
· 10+ years of relevant IT industry experience in customer facing positions preferable in the eBusiness space
· Experience in Adobe CQ5, AEM (Adobe Experience Manager), JCR (Java Content Respository)
· Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
Knowledge of SEO, Search algorithms, Taxonomy Development, information security, Information Supply Channels and Enterprise integration techniques.
