RapidIT, Inc. has been established to provide computer systems, business applications software and related services for clients in different industries. Adapting the latest technologies, we provide information system solutions to the business problems of our clients. Our company is currently expanding its operations, to which end we are conducting an extensive recruitment through media and advertising.

We presently have an immediate need for a Network/Systems Administrator.

Position: Network/Systems Administrator

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 12 months

[ JOB DESCRIPTION]:

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field from a four-year accredited college or university and 8+ years of related experience.

Ability to configure CISCO firewall.

Ability to configure Dell SonicWall firewall.

Knowledge of Extreme Networks environment and devices.

Knowledge of ShoreTel PBX phone system.

Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Active Directory.

Proficiency in Linux operating system.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite software.

Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL databases.

Knowledge of backup and recovery concepts and testing.

Knowledge of electronic security access systems from providers such as Convergint Technologies.

Experience with Symantec AntiVirus and Symantec Critical System Protection applications is a plus.

Experience with implementing and administering Office 365 is a plus.

Ability to work with minimal supervision, exercise discretion, and use independent judgment.

Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

Minimum Education Required: U.S. Equivalent Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field.
