Job Title: Sr. PHP / Drupal Developer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Engineering Lead participating in the design and development of our large-scale web-based SaaS platform.
• Implementation of enhancements to our PHP / Drupal 6 environment
• MySQL experience a must
• Interfaces with other groups/individuals involved in the design, development, and test of the Product.
• Experience with designing and building large scale web systems.
• Experience in building production quality, business critical systems.
• Flexibility in addressing multiple and changing priorities common in startup-size companies.
• Strong mentorship skills.
Experience:
• 3+ years as a PHP developer
• Strong Knowledge of Drupal 6, with 1 – 2 years experience
• 8+ years as in Java Development with at least 3+ years using Spring
• 5+ years experience with JavaScript, Ajax, servlets, JSP
• 3+ years developing services using technologies like JSON, SOAP, etc
• Strong technical knowledge of the Hibernate framework
• Experience with Data Access Object and other java design patterns
• Experience with Drools or other similar rules engine
• 5+ years experience with the LAMP stack
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services environment a plus
• Working knowledge of Jira/Jenkins/Confluence
• 3+ years working in a Agile/Scrum environment
• Superior interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate and explain technical information to various audience levels.
• Detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills, oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
• Ability to communicate with prospects and existing clients in a customer-oriented, polite, and professional manner.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage priorities as required while remaining professional and calm under tight deadlines and due dates.
• Exceptional ability to participate as an individual contributor and team player with high attention to detail in a dynamic, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and systems, and a passion for innovation.
• Self-starter with experience working on projects with limited direction.
• Quality of work to include timeliness, completeness and accuracy.
