Description: The Systems Team for a custom application supporting treasury management, money movement, and fraud prevention functions for Northern Trust clients is seeking an experienced application architect. The application is comprised of a J2EE front-end with extensive batch processing via UNIX and Mainframe. Strong Java, UNIX and SQL / Sybase skills are required. Light Mainframe experience is desired, but not required. The engagement is expected to last approximately 6 months with the possibility of extension. This role will involve application design / architecture, code reviews, coaching / mentoring, development, and break / fix support.
