We are looking for stong ETL testers for a project in New York City.
 
Position: Sr. ETL Testers - 1 positions
NOTE: In-person interview required

Location: New York City, NY onsite only
Duration: 6 months +
Status: Citizen, GC, EAD, H1B
Experience: 5+ years
Max rate/salary: $45/hr c2c

Skills requirement:

* Review test scripts, test conditions, test data, and expected results for test plans prepared by testers
* Reviews and provides input to test deliverables
 Transform requirements into workable test scenarios at the functional level. Develop and maintain test scenarios
* Review project deliverables (for example, Business Requirements, Use Cases, Technical Designs) as they relate to a given test stage
* Verify the validity of a solution from an end-to-end testing and end-user perspective
* Work with the management team to identify risks related to testing efforts
* Record defects and issues in accordance with the project's defect and issue management plans The linked image cannot be displayed. The file may have been moved, renamed, or deleted. Verify that the link points to the correct file and location.
* Work with the application teams to resolve issues that arise during test planning and execution
* Participate in the production release control process to ensure that solutions meet business requirements
* Inform the Project Test Lead of issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the solution or the testing process
* Execute and verify test scripts
Understanding of ETL architectures and experience deploying ETL solutions in a data warehousing environment
* Validate defect fixes

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience
* At least 8 years working experience in a variety of technical roles within Information Technology
* 5 or more years experience in QA analysis roles in a BI environment Requirements and General Skills:
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills Technical Skills:
* Proven ability to use standard QA tools such as Quality Center
* Ability to develop and use test plans, test cases, test scripts, test results
* Knowledge of data warehouse architectures and processes
* Understanding of the features and capabilities of one more DBMS's commonly used in data warehousing such as Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server
* Understanding of ETL architectures and experience deploying ETL solutions in a data warehousing environment
* Experience using technical documents such as business requirements, functional requirements, database design representations, data and systems flow diagrams
