Additional details : Oracle DBA with database upgrade from 9i to 11g skillset

 

Description:

 

·         DBA with Oracle database upgrade from 9i to 11g version and can perform the following Study existing instance strategy and provide optimal instance planning and support during pre-up-grade, upgrade, post up grade stages.

·         This is applicable to oracle 9i and 11g instances.

·         Understand the existing 9i database architecture and documentation.

·         Understand the existing 9i instance management and release management processes.

·         Provide Instance management for oracle 11G Database.

·         Track and establish patch management process for Oracle 11G upgrades.

·         Highlight risk and mitigations.

·         Coordinate and plan instance strategy between different teams and stake holders.

·         Provide suggestions to reduce the downtime.

·         Coordinate with release management team, improvise and establish processes of release management for existing oracle 9i instances.

·         Track Oracle SRs and assist teams to achieve resolutions.
