Role: Java/Drools Consultant

Location: Charlotte NC or Chandler AZ

Duration: 6 Months- can extend out to 18

Max Rate: $ 50/hr

 

Need candidates to be strong in Java, Web Services & Drools This is not a Front-End Development position, need candidates to be strong with Middleware & Backend Development (not working with DB's...just not Front-End Dev)  Back-End to this team  means the Communication Transfer Layer & Security components. Candidates will need to have a strong background XML and experience creating Web Services from scratch.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

7+ years of Java middleware or server-side development experience

2+ years of recent rules engine application development using Drools versions no older than v5

4+ years SQL/JDBC and relational database experience

1+ years of J2EE Web Service Development

1+ years of XML/XSD/WSDL/Schemas/SOAP

Demonstrated experience building model jar files and uploading them in Guvnor

Demonstrated experience building rule flows and uploading them in Guvnor

Experience helping design large number of rules, primarily with decision tables Demonstrated experience invoking the rule engine from Java

Experience building rule package files / snapshots for deployment Experience creating change sets and allowing hot deploys

Experience using: JUnit, DAO, EJB, MDB, ANSI SQL Demonstrated experience profiling and performance tuning medium to complex enterprise applications Production Support experience

Proven ability to independently design and develop a Java application including a rules engine from scratch

Proven ability to write clean, testable, elegant code while embracing the principles of software design Experience with relational databases

Proven ability to act as a technology mentor on Drools and Guvnor to team members

Prior work experience in the financial industry 

Experience using: Weblogic, Tomcat/TomEE, MS SQL Server, JMS, MQ, IntelliJ Idea, Java optimization techniques,
