Type of Hire: FTE/C2H/ C2C

Job Description:

MUST HAVE:
1. Strong shell scripting skills
2. MQ Administration experience
3. Java knowledge

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement solutions for applications by engineering and configuring the IBM Websphere MQ. Design, implement and maintain overall integration infrastructure.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Implement and maintain integration systems infrastructure including fault tolerance and high availability solutions.
* Design solutions based on IBM MQ technologies.
* Strong experience with MQ Clustering, MQ Pub Sub, MQ Multi Instance Qmgr Setups, MQSC Commands
* Troubleshoot MQ issues
* Update .bindings
* Install and configure IBM Websphere MQ on Unix and Windows based environments.
* Work with project teams to gather requirements to provide estimates, designs and solutions.
* Performance tune Websphere MQ. Work closely with the development teams to administer load testing and monitoring.
* Manage and maintain the environments by automating systems management and monitoring activities through existing tools and new ones through UNIX Scripting.
* Assist and/or work with application development teams.
* Provide 24x7 on-call support of Production systems on a rotation basis.
* Research and troubleshoot Integration and infrastructure issues.
