Position: QA Engineer (Automation)
Location: Foster City, CA
Duration: 6-9 Months, high possibility of extension
Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, defect metrics & test case reviews.
• Understanding code, creating & executing white-box & black-box tests
• Creating and managing test environments which involves configuration of hardware and software
• Write top quality test cases , build unit tests, foresee issues not necessarily reproducible in the test environment, identify user experience issues, debug performance & scalability issues
• Isolate defects effectively and provide specific conditions for reproducibility
• Work independently with minimal supervision and adapt quickly based on senior direction and feedback
Skills:
Java, Selenium, Rest API, UNIX, SQL
Requirements:
- The candidate should have 3-8 years of professional experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Automation Testing, Regression Testing, Functional Testing QTP/Selenium
- Hands on Technical Experience with team leading
- Extensive Experience in Defect tracking tools like Test Director/Quality Center
- Excellent problem solving abilities and detail orientation
- Excellent communication skill
