FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW

 

Required (3+ years of experience):

-Strong Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Background

-In-Depth Knowledge and Significant Experience with TCP/IP;TCP/IP OSPF and BGP Routing Protocols, Cisco HSRP/GLBP

-Metropolitan Ethernet; Vlan Tagging

-Familiar with protocol analyzer software (and Wireshark) and able to interpret traces

-Knowledge and Experiences with:

-Windows 2008/2008 R2/2012 Server network environment

-Cisco IOS, Cisco QOS, Cisco NX-OS

-Cisco Switches/Routers (2811, 29x0, 36xx, 3845, 4500, 65xx, 72xx, ASR1000 series, Nexus 1000V, Nexus 2000, Nexus 5000, Nexus 70xx)

-Cisco 6500 Sup 32, 6500 Sup 720 3b

-Cisco 6500 Firewall Service Module

-Cisco VPN (ASA)

-Cisco WISM, Cisco WLAN

-Microsoft Office Professional (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

-Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project

-Microsoft RPC protocols (troubleshooting and analysis)

-Network Monitoring Tools (HP OpenView, SNMPc, and Solar Winds)

-Cabling and physical connectivity (Voice/Data, copper, fiber)

-QoS

-SIP

 

Desired (3+ years of experience):

 

-Knowledge and Experiences with:

-Load Balancing (F5 experience a bonus)

-Cisco CSACSE (TACAS+)

-Microsoft Clustering (troubleshooting and analyzing network traffic)

-EASY-IP Address Management

-DNS (including Microsoft WINS and Active Directory Interaction)

-Compuware Application Vantage

-HP OpenView and Castlerock SNMPc network monitoring/management

 

-Customization services

-Responses to customer inquires

-Responses to trouble tickets
