DESCRIPTION:
Role : Build and Release Manager
Duration : 6 + Months

Location - Menomonee Falls, WI
Experience : 8-10+ Yrs
· Evaluates proposed new plans and initiatives to ensure the QA and Release processes are incorporated and that they minimize risk of production failure.
· Guides project recommendations through senior management approval process.
· Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the organization promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.
· Collaborates and strategizes with development and infrastructure leaders to establish QA engineering and enterprise release management practices that enable the delivery of high-quality software at a pace that meets customer's demands.
· Works with Architects, QA, PM''s, Infrastructure and IT Service Delivery to establish integrated and aligned Release and Technical Environment governance
· Establishes and maintains Build and Release visibility within IT and Business
· Responsible for release governance implementation and support of the QA environment and data management processes for Kohl's strategic enterprise applications including Sterling OMS, Sterling GIV, and Manhattan Warehouse Management
· Ensures collaboration with Project Management team to prioritize and schedule development projects, assign appropriate resources, and track performance.
· Informs and advises team of policies and procedures, projects and major activities in other groups as appropriate to ensure team is apprised of activities that affect its work processes, timelines and planning.
· Participates in the governance process for large-scale technology projects and the enterprise technology "roadmap", ensuring that the QA and release management perspective is evaluated and additional needs identified.
· Experience release management for large software packages.
· Knowledge of retail, manufacturing and distribution processes with experience in multi-channel retailing a plus.
