VB.Net Developer, New York City

TWO (2) mid-level VB.Net Developers to be part of a 4 person New York City based development and remediation project.

VB.Net Developer 
Location:             New York City (7 Hanover Square in Lower Manhattan)

Duration:             May – August 31, 2014 (with possible extension through end of year)
Start:                    ASAP

 

The development technology: VB.net, MS .Net (C# and VB) and SQL Server.  This is a large ongoing project which development is scheduled to be completed in August.  There is a significant work in the area of "failed test cases" which is the focus of this assignment. The candidate should enjoy this type of work.

  

We are looking for one experienced developer with:

• Application – VB.Net development experience with .NET 4.5, C# and WCF (web services)
• Database – MS SQL 2012
• IDE - MS Visual Studio 2012
• Web Server, Report Server – IIS 7 (report server/engine is handled by SQL developers)
• Telerik ASP.NET AJAX Controls

An onsite resource, a heads down experienced developer with good communication skills.

These positions can start in early May, so we prefer New York or New Jersey based resources that can start by May 12^th.
