Net Developer w/strong WPF, multi-threading, & desktop UI experience

Location: Charlotte, NC

Contract: 12-18 months

Phone interview first. Then Skype Interview

 

Make sure to comment on your candidates experience with WPF, desptop UI and multi-threading

1. Client server / desktop application Developer (C#, WPF, Object Orientated Programming, TDD, Agile).

2. Should have a solid grasp of: .NET, C#, WPF, object orientated (OO) analysis / design / design patterns.

3. Should have worked in a multithreading or real-time multi-threaded environment.

4. Strong fundamentals in C# and programming concepts.

5. Multi-threading, GC, Data structures and optionally Algorithms.

6. Asynchronous Programming (Coherence, TIBCO etc.).

7. Strong enthusiasm to learning and "can do" attitude and good aptitude as well.

8. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

9. Analytical problem solving skills.

10. Attention to detail and thoroughness a must.

11. Must have worked on at least 2 full life cycle implementations.

12. Knowledge of "any" Financial Security and related flow would be ideal.

13. 5+ years working experience, preferably in Capital Markets/Trading.

14. 7+ years of experience in developing applications using .NET (with CLR), C#, WinForms.

15.   2+ years of WPF and MVVM.

16.   1+ year of Solace Messaging experience (optional).

17.   1+ year of Oracle Coherence .Net experience (optional).

18.   Optional: 3+ years of SQL Server/SSIS/SSRS experience including 1+ years of experience with SQL 2008 R2.

19. 3+ years of experience in developing application using WPF
