Two SQL DBA's , they are very senior roles. They need to have at least 10 years of experience in IT and a face to face WILL be required after a phone interview. The contract will start at 6 months and can go up to 2 years

Role: SQL Server DBA

Location: Roseland NJ

Duration: start at 6 months and can go up to 2 years

Required:

·         DBA need to have expert level of skills in administering SQL Server High Available database solutions.

·         Expert level skills in administering SQL Server database cluster resources.

·         Expert level skills in configuring and tuning SQL Server data server performance.

·         Expert level skills in managing log shipping, database mirroring, and other disaster recovery solutions in a larger organization.

·         Expert level skills in backup and recovery solutions.

·         Exposure in implementing heterogeneous database connectivity, SQL Server database replication solutions.

·         Expert level skills in identify query performance issues, recommend performance improvement solutions in terms of both application code and database configurations.

·         Ability to represent database team as a subject matter expert during problem management situations.

·         Extensive exposure to SQL Server profiler, SQL traces, Query plan analysis and follow up with Microsoft Technical Support.

·         Nice to have some support level knowledge in Oracle database technology including clustering solutions.
