Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer II

Location: San Jose, CA (Locals only)

Duration: Long Term contract

 

Job Description:

·         Designs and installs quality control process sampling systems, procedures and statistical techniques.

·         Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment.

·         Analyzes production limitations and standards.

·         Recommends revision of specifications when indicated.

·         Formulates or assists in formulating quality control policies and procedures. Develops the economics of any quality control program when required.

 

Q. Describe the project they will be working on?

A. They would be working on a North America scrum team. The project that the engineers have to work on would be Canada Visa debit

 

Q. What are the Top Three Skills needed to perform this role/job?

A.

1. Automation experience in Selenium or any object oriented programming

2. Knowledge on java would be added advantage

3. Previous PayPal domain expertise would be advantageous

 

Q. What would the typical work day look like for this contractor (what are they responsible for)?

A. they have to interact with the dev engineers, product owner understand the requirement, write test case, manually test the product and automate the test cases for that particular feature.

 

Q. Any technology companies or a particular industry background that you would like them to come from?

A. Previous PayPal experience would be an added advantage.
