Requirements:
The Data Architecture/Modeler is responsible for the detailed design of a project’s data integration component. A typical data integration design effort usually involves working with the business users to determine the specific business, transformation and standard data handling rules, developing the detailed data mappings and assisting the ETL Developers and system owners to validate the results.
Requirements:
1. Must have exp 5-7 experience developing enterprise data architecture for operational data stores, MDM data stores, integration data stores, data warehouses, analytics hubs and data marts.
Ø Perform the detailed data analysis. Verify natural keys through SQL queries against the source databases.
Ø Develop data modeling standards.
Ø Develop the conceptual data model(s) & logical data model(s).
Ø Proficient with one or more leading data modeling tools such as Erwin, Enterprise
Ø Architect, PowerDesigner, etc.
Ø Proficient with SQL with emphasis on the SELECT statement.
2. Develop entity and attribute descriptions and definitions for the models and ensure that conflicts in descriptions and definitions are resolved.
Ø Identify the key facts and dimensions necessary to support the business requirements.
Ø Conduct User Interviews and Data Analysis Review meetings.
Ø Conduct sessions to review and vet the data architecture and data models.
Ø Perform source data quality assessments.
Ø Identify the appropriate data sources with the assistance of the business analyst.
Ø Perform the activities necessary to support the standardization of facts and dimensions.
Ø Prepare prototype data models to support the development efforts.
3. Assist the Business Data Analyst in mapping the data from source to target & related issues such as: assessing data quality, data consolidation, evaluating existing data sources.
4. Perform re-engineering of source models when necessary.
5. Maintain data in the metadata repository associated with the data models.
6. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
7. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator
8. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project
Position: ETL Architect (HEATHCARE /PAYOR REQUIRED}
Location: Rochester, NY
Length: 4 Weeks- w/option for extension
The current project is a cost containment assessment.{PROOF OF CONCEPT PHASE I}.
The duration for the assessment is 4 weeks, which would increase the duration.
MUST HAVE Healthcare Payer experience from one of the following companies: Aetna, Cigna, Humana, and United Healthcare, Anthem, BCBS, Horizon, Champus/Tricare, Wellpoint, HCSC, TUFTS, Harvard Pilgrim, CDPHP, Oxford HP, Healthfirst NY & NJ, Fallon, Americhoice, NHP. Requirements:
1. Must have 8-10 yrs experience Architecting, Designing & implementing Informatica v8 /ETL solutions inclusive of : { Strong knowledge of ETL tools and unstructured/relational databases and data verification/validation techniques, methods and tools }
§ Architect, design, develop, test, debug and deploy complex ETL programs adhering to best practices
§ Set strategy and oversee design and development of data staging, architecture and consuming internal and external application interfaces
§ Manage the definition, monitoring and management of business data quality and ETL operational metrics
§ Review and make decisions based on the research of new solutions, tools and methodologies that may improve the overall operation model, process and/or the result of the project or projects at hand
§ Responsible for deploying technical methodologies for client projects, such as functional/technical requirements, design topics, code review and testing procedures
§ Mentor team members in the definition, execution and communication of ETL strategy and technical solution
§ Main point of contact between business and operational users, other data management staff and infrastructure teams to ensure adherence to client and company guidelines, restrictions and requirements as well as industry standards
§ Employ extreme attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to dynamic client environments and changing business, operations and technology priorities in addition to team size and location
2. Must have exp preparing “steering & driving the right strategic choices” used for completing standards documents around best practice use of data stage technology. Should be adept in the following areas:
§ Coding and code review standards around Informatica v8:
Ø Source to target mapping
Ø Contribute/Participate in all data mapping meetings.
Ø Perform the work to map the client’s data to target tables
Ø Strong ability to perform data analysis
Ø Supports loading the client data into the database
Ø Participate in test plans (unit/systems/integration)
§ Technology standards around Informatica

i. Experience in implementing a” BI/DW/MDM Master Plan” of recommendations for improvements with an emphasis in ETL architecture & Data architecture
ii. Best practices and methodologies in data design, conceptual and logical modeling including:
Ø Leads technically significant work on enterprise scale projects. Is recognized by peers as an expert in several areas of technology related to a business intelligence and analytics framework. Specialize in Cognos, Oracle and Informatica environments
Ø Experience successfully completing business value assessments
Ø Regularly leads large cross functional teams, including technical management of client staff assigned to implementation team, in the completion of solution requirements, architecture, and / or implementation deliverables.
Ø Builds reusable architecture and technology frameworks that can be leveraged both internally and externally.
Ø Provides the senior technical direction required to resolve complex issues to ensure the on-time delivery of solutions that meet customer expectations.
Ø Provides advanced technical consulting and advice to proposal efforts and solution design.
Ø Solves extremely difficult technical challenges.
10. Must have prior experience communicating & mentoring C-Level or executive level management

Overview:
PM will be responsible for exceeding client expectations through superior implementation, delivery and management of technology products and solutions. PM will maintain contact and communication with all project team members and other participants to ensure conformance with requirements of each project(s) and client user expectations. Will be responsible for implementing strong program management practices, including change requests, issue management, risk management and decision tracking and contribute to standard client implementation methodologies and management best practices.
Requirements:
1. Must have 7-10+ years experience with Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing (BI/DW) based project-management, which includes leadership and evaluation of project teams and supervision of personnel.
· In depth knowledge in managing mid to large engagements across project lifecycles and across service delivery lines in BI/DW space.
o Thorough understanding of Healthcare insurance industry and have managed and lead programs end to end. { Payer experience a must, along with BI/DW technical experience. }
o Prior experience with ACA, which is member centric in focus.
o Prior experience with government programs, such as Medicare, ACOs and PCMHs, is a plus.
· Conduct exploratory analysis to identify data trends and anomalies in lines of business and translate these insights into recommendations for actionable management strategies.
· Work as a liaison between business users and IT support staff to develop reporting solutions to meet operational and ad-hoc reporting requirements, facilitate user evaluation of these solutions, and assist in creating business and technical requirement documents.
· Provide initial support for users who encounter problems in generating or interpreting reporting functionality.
· Responsible for building partnerships with internal line of business stakeholders to empower these users to perform deeper and more significant analysis independently.
