ROLE: Business Data Analyst

Location: Washington DC

Duration: 6 months possible extension

Requirements:

· Provide data requirements analysis support

· Provide source system natural key identification support for the target data model

· Provide support in the creation and validation of data element source-to-target mappings

· Provide data profiling analysis using data profiling tools and SQL

· Support information gathering and assessment activities

· Support documentation creation and review activities

· Perform detailed data analysis as needed

· Review existing documents that may contain requirements or background information

· Payer data background is required (3+ years)

· Strong SQL skills are required (ability to write advanced SELECT statements is a must)

· Proficient using query tools such as TOAD, SQL Navigator, etc.

· RDBMS experience including Oracle and SQL Server

· Support code mapping analysis and updates

· Support metadata population and updates including the business glossary

· Experience with navigating Facets tables a significant plus

· Data Profiling and requirements interpretation/translation

· Familiarity of Informatica
