Job Description:The consultant MUST HAVE the following experience.


• 8+ years of experience working in a software engineering discipline with 5+ years as a lead developer.

• Bachelor's degree (BS) in Computer Science/Engineering or any other top tier IT discipline.

• Solid experience working with web services (REST, SOAP/WSDL &  XML/XSLT) required. 

• Solid working knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SNMP & SSH.

• Demonstrable Experience with Relational Databases (Oracle), LDAP/X.500, JDBC, XMPP & AMQP is needed.

• J2EE development experience in a cloud environment or an enterprise setting is a strong plus.

• Experience working with open source software such as Spring, Hibernate, Hadoop, Apache Commons, Tomcat, and MySQL is preferred.

• Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Design/UML/AOP skills. Must have good understanding of database design/ERDs.

• Prior experience with Virtualization & Rack Space Cloud Infrastructure is needed. 

• Comfortable with Linux shell scripting as well as a few scripting languages such as Perl, Python & Ruby.

• Good understanding of leveraging Big Data technologies is a plus. 

• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle in Agile environment

• Knowledge of Video Controller Systems is a strong plus.
