The Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team.

 

This position would be a member of the team for the replacement of the Data Dissemination capabilities of EpiQMS (Epidemiological Query and Mapping System) for Public facing data provided by Bureau of Heath Statistics and Registries (BHSR). EpiQMS currently provides tabular, mapping and graphing capabilities. The expansion would be for this to be for Enterprise wide capability rather than just an EpiQMS replacement.

 

This staff augmentation position is required to have skills and additional resources for the production of reports for cancer and cancer related data sets from EpiQMS.  If time is available the goal is to replace the functionality of all tabular data sets from EpiQMS.

 

The position would be responsible for producing the SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)tabular Reports and participating in data modeling sessions.  They will follow the data model methodology for the PHAIM EDW (Pubic Health Analysis and Information Management Enterprise Data Warehouse) and Reporting standards for public facing reporting established by the EPHT (Environmental Public Health Tracking) program. The application will be developed in SSRS 2008 R2 and VB .NET to be later transitioned to a SQL Server 2012, SSRS 2012 platform.
