Title: Senior Java developer
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Basking Ridge, NJ

 

Responsibilities include:
• Design, analyze, develop, code, test, debug and document programming to satisfy business requirements
• Working with enterprise architects and business teams to analyze requirements and map them to technical deliverables
• Existing, in-flight and future projects will be impacted by this role
• Develop architectural approach to meet key strategic business initiatives
• Ensure project successfully implements the designed solution following architectural tenets
• Conduct vendor analysis and proof-of-concepts for new technologies/solutions
• Help assess the planning for retirement of products and migration plans for the functional evolution of the system infrastructure

 

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Full-lifecycle development experience with Java web and server side application technologies
• Skilled in ioc Container and Spring frameworks (3.0 x or greater)
• Proficiency with Spring MVC or Spring webflow or comparable MVC frameworks
• Experience with JUnit and test-driven development (TDD)
• Hands-on familiarity with SOA and Restful web service architecture and development

 

Assets:
• AJAX based application development
• Experience with JQuery, Web 2.0 and HTML5 (must be able to do styling of UIs through cascading style sheets)
• Familiarity with SDLC process and ability to design solutions with Class, State and Sequence diagrams
• Experience with LDAP/database and proficiency with Spring Security, Spring JDBC and Spring AOP
• Experience developing/integrating identity and access management applications
• Hands-on experience of testing with mocking frameworks (preferably Mockito but not limited to)
• Hands-on use of industry standards in security space on things like OAth2,SAML, etc
