Relevant Experience& Experience Required
(in Yrs) 8+ Yrs with Strong communication, analytical and Big Data
Technical/Functional Skills 
• Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science), Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years relevant experience as a Systems Engineer or Solution Architect in a fast paced environment required
• Experience in developing  scalable Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based web services
• Experience in Business Systems Analysis, Requirements Elaboration and high-level architectural designs and detailed designs
• Experience with distributed media applications, video-on-demand and  broadcast systems
• Experience in integration  with any open source recommendation engine or DigitalSmiths is a plus
• Understanding of software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development is required
• Leadership qualities, including ability to facilitate technical discussions with diverse and cross-functional groups, time management, organizational and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to make solid technical / business decisions with minimal managerial direction.
• Demonstrated success in working effectively with Program Management, cross-functional teams and senior management
• Experience in web services integration with platforms like web, mobile (smart phones, tablets), Settop box is a plus
• Experience providing technical / solution architecture for application dealing with large volume of data.
• Experience in business analytics applications tools.
• Knowledge about Big data, Parallel data processing, Map Reduce, Data science etc.
Roles & Responsibilities 
• Partner with business stakeholders to review and understand business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural design
• Document and review technical specifications with cross-functional teams
• Facilitate and lead design review sessions and technical discussions
• Support the project through entire development lifecycle from initial kick-off to production deployment
• Participate in commercial-off-the-shelf product evaluation and selection
• Be a subject matter expert in the assigned functional domain
• Research emerging trends and technologies
• Proactively identify and suggest architectural improvements in as-is Systems
