Operating under the direction of the Project Manager:
1. Provide guidelines, reviews and support to developers and business analysts creating unit tests and integrating them into the build cycles.
2. Manage teams performing testing activities, including UI automation, integration testing, performance and scalability testing
3. Review and provide guidance on the test scope and output of testers performing exploratory testing in development sprints
4. Facilitate, record and capture information from demos and clinical validations
5. Create status reporting mechanisms to monitor the status of the above activities
6. Host integration discussions, with representatives of all test teams, identify and help resolve road blocks
7. Ensure that requirements and deliverables are verified and validated at each testing phase and final acceptance
8. Prepare test protocols and reports which meet regulatory requirements, during the final test cycle
9. Help keep test processes streamlined for efficiency
10. Be the primary advocate for the adoption of new test tools and methodologies which are appropriate for the project.
Skills Needed:
7 Year/ 84 months direct experience planning, designing, developing and executing test strategies based on software specifications. Experience must detail developing testing strategies and coordinating and tracking testing activities across multiple organizations.
7 Year/ 84 months creating test plans, test schedule, test environments, test reports, and defect management using industry-standard tools to identify, document, track and communicate problems to technical staff. Experience must detail work directly with business analysts, business and technical subject matter experts.
5 Year/ 60 months ensuring risks associated with test strategies or plans are documented, communicated and managed and evaluating the outcome of system testing, and confirming that the results are consistent with the system or business process specifications.
5 Year/ 60 months hands-on experience with automated functional testing. Experience must detail use of specific automation tools and the processes used to migrate test cases from manual testing to automation.
4 Year/ 48 months direct hands-on experience as a Test / QA Lead working on large software development and data migration project(s). Experience must detail team leadership implementing testing frameworks using Test/QA best practices.
2 Year/24 months of experience with Performance and Stress testing using performance testing software.
BA/BS Degree in computer science, information science, public health, or related field from an accredited institution.
