Role: Cloud dev/Test Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6+ months (extendable)
In person interview a MUST
The initiative revolves around building a Cloud System that can be leveraged both internally and externally. The system will provide IaaS, PaaS, & SaaS capabilities.
Must Have:
· Development/testing, software QA/testing skills.
· Hands on experience with python, mysql, rabbitmq.
· Strong understanding of OpenShift and/or CloudFoundry.
· Strong understanding of application architecture (3-tier/web, etc..) + challenges with scaling.
· Hands on experience with OpenStack, cloudstack, Openshift, cloudforms, or other cloud management technologies.
· Knowledge of relational databases (oracle, MS SQL, etc..).
· Hands on experience with PHP, java, ruby, etc… (Coding experience which one or more required)
· Hands on experience with one or more flavors of Linux OS (Ubuntu, RHEL, etc..).
Role:
· Conduct QA/testing/validation of software components built engineering team.
· Debug code & identify issues with functionality, performance, scalability, etc…
· Setup & manage validation environment.
· Present findings & recommendations to engineering team.
Experience:
Strong 5 years of experience with the above
Total experience: 8-10 years
Client does NOT need any mobile development or mobile testing experience
Good communication skills and confident personal
