Job Title               BI-SQL Data Analyst

Location               Redmond, WA

Duration              6+ Months

 

Primary Skill     

•        BI, scorecards, and metrics experience - Proficiency 5-8

•        BI terminology and knowledge to understand the requirements and get it implemented

•        Total Experience Required 5+ yrs  

 

Description        Mandatory Technical Skills

•        BI, scorecards, and metrics experience - Proficiency 5-8

·         BI terminology and knowledge to understand the requirements and get it implemented.

·         Metrics knowledge about how metrics work how KPI’s role upto each metric, how do the metrics drive decisions.

·         Should have business understanding of metrics and executive reporting.

•        Excel - proficiency level 6-10, Vlookup, charts, Pivot tables & Pivot charts to analyze data and select a set of data to make it meaningful for reporting.

•        Understanding of MSBI, Cubes, proficiency 4-6

•        Good working knowledge of SQL to query data sources towards reporting

•        Strong writing and verbal skills

•        Communicate and presence to get the job done collect metrics from Directors  & Managers and also communicate with them on their requirements.

•        Project management track ongoing projects and onboard new projects which Farid is responsible and track the timelines and implementation.

•        Self-starter who can get it done. Drive tasks on your own to deliver on very tight timelines. Highest priority task for us is the lowest priority for the data provider.

•        Must be organized, too many tasks at the same time with tight timelines must be tracked and delivered and if not delivered proper explanation to be provided.

•        must have good interpersonal and communication skills

·         Communicate with Directors & Managers in a diplomatic way to get things done

·         Nice to have

•        Working knowledge of MDX to understand the queries on the cube in EDW.

·         VSTF knowledge to track tickets & incidents.

•        working knowledge of Azure

•        working knowledge of how IT infrastructure works, networking concepts, servers, etc
