Title: SSRS Report Developer
Start Date: 01/27/2014

Position Type: Contract(3-6 months)
Locations: Sacramento, CA
Candidates must be local and able to interview in-person.

Note: Candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check

Role is to mostly: Maintain and create reports using SSRS.

Job Summary
Work will primarily consist of the following: Create, maintain, manage and support reports mostly created in-house using SQL Reporting Services (SSRS). Work will primarily consist of managing reports associated with the Maximo CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) system. There will be additional maintenance and modifications to existing applications and sites. There will be additional maintenance and modifications to existing applications and sites.

Qualifications / Required skills include:

A minimum of five years experience in a production development environment
Experience in the following:

• Designing, creating, managing reports using MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Document deliverables, including developer and end-sure documents.
• Creating list layout reports.
• Creating graphical layour reports (Chart, Bar, line)
• Integrating multiple report definitions into a single report object
• Reverse engineering reports developed in MS Excel
• Develop complex SQL Statements to retrieve data from SQL Server
• Develop and deliver Report Model Projects
• Understand SSRS's Security module used to restrict access to specialized reports
• Understand SSRS's Subscription mechanism
• Ability to develop processes to tak summary data snapshots of the database
• MS Access
• MS Excel

Understanding of the following is Desirable:

• ASP.NET
• VB.NET
• SQL Programming
• MS Visual Studio
• Knowledge of .NET application architecture and security
• Knowledge of SQL database creation
• Stored procedures. tables, views, triggers, and scripts.
• Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management (i.e., Maximo)
• SharePoint and the SharePoint Object Model
• Experience with WebSite Development
• Ability to reverse engineer reports developed in Actuate
• Experiencw with Actuate BIRT reporting tool
• Experience with SSIS 2005 and above
• SourceGear Vault version control
• Ability to setup timed processes in SQL Server
