JOB REQUIREMENTS
Summary of the Position
This role is primarily responsible for developing and configuring the Integration application with information pertaining to our client's services and testing directly with end customers and vendors to ensure proper connectivity and functionality.
Candidate will participate in solution design and reviews with client Information Technology Division, the eProcurement solution vendor and client's eProcurement Technical Team. The candidate should be technically competent in the support of three tiered architecture.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop, support and maintain of XML based integration between the client's eProcurement and Accounting systems.
Gain a thorough and in-depth understanding of the Integration environment technical architecture and all components of the assigned applications, including all middleware and operating system components.
Design and develop solutions that clearly address the business objectives identified. Create software architecture documents and models according to the client's systems development methodology.
Work closely with other Analysts, Programmers and Technical Leads in a highly collaborative environment.
Ensure that work done meets business needs and will execute correctly and efficiently within test, QA and production environment by creating technical design artifacts, working with a high level of proficiency, performing detailed and thorough testing and actively participate in walkthroughs of artifacts.
Create technical documentation in the approved format for the task assigned
Attend and participate in troubleshooting sessions with support personnel
Qualifications
Education, Skills and Competencies
• Extensive experience with XML Data Mapping and or XSLT Transformation.
• Experience working with software integration.
• Clear understanding on various communication protocols SFTP, FTPS and FTP.
• 3 years of Core C#, VB.NET and /or Java programming experience.
• Experience with Oracle PLSQL and or Microsoft SQL Server Transact SQL.
• Extensive experience with Windows 2008.
• Hands on experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and Web Services and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) design patterns.
• Must have experience resolving any data issue with internal staff, customer/vendor.
• Experience with source code control tools, defect tracking and testing tools.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand, appreciate and adapt to new cultures and ways of working.
• BS degree in information technology or related discipline
