Job Title:
· GIS Infrastructure/System Administrator-Specialized Summary:
· Support and administration of Network management and monitoring tools/applications.
· This is a unique position, requiring a broad range of knowledge in several IT platforms including Network, Server, and Programming.
Education/Experience:
· Computer-related four year College or University Degree (or equivalent).
· Progressively responsible IT job-related experiences.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Support and administration of Network management and monitoring tools/applications including installation, support, upgrades, identification and resolution of problems, and customer requested enhancements.
· Participating in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components.
· Working with vendors on the integration of purchased application(s) and/or infrastructure.
· Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support.
· This will occasionally require off-shift and weekend support.
· Skill/Role Level Years Preference LAN Technologies Intermediate 2.0 Required HTML Intermediate 2.0 Preferred IBM Intel based x series Intermediate 2.0 Preferred PHP Intermediate 2.0 Preferred Perl Intermediate 2.0 Required Documentation Intermediate 2.0 Preferred
