Job Title: Web Designer/Developer
Location: Denver, CO
Duration: 4 mths,
Note: Offsite work permitted with weekly visit to attend status meetings.
1. A series of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) that will be used throughout the Web site. These CSS will contain the main look and feel for items like the header, menus on the left side of the pages, fonts within the site, colors, and background. Other CSS may be created to handle specific pages.
2. The assigned OIT and OGCC staff will be creating Information Architecture documentation from the current Web site. Working with these team members, deliver a new Information Architecture for the transition site.
3. Develop templates for each of the category pages
4. Design plans for hardware to support the site
5. Inclusion of Goggle Analytics scripts
6. Move information from old location to new location
7. Test plan for new site, to include mobile testing possibly
8. State security protocols will be meet in all design considerations
9. Design options for new interface for dynamic queries.
10. Schedule and Cost estimates based on time and materials
The work will involve creating a number of Cascading Style Sheets throughout the site to maintain a consistent look and feel. The Information Architecture for the site will be created by staff and working with the selected individual will be implemented. Skills required for the project include knowledge and experience with CSS, HTML, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and working with IIS.
Experience of at least three years in Web site design and development is required. HTML experience of at least three years is required. Using CSS and JavaScript is also a requirement.
