Position: Senior UI Engineer
Location: Milpitas, CA, United States
Description:
We are seeking a versatile UI Software Engineer to join our team. You will be working as part of a small, dynamic team to help design and develop our management solution for the Gigamon visibility fabric. You must be comfortable working in a fast paced startup environment.
Expectations:
•Strong HTML, CSS & JavaScript skills
•Experience with one or more of JQuery, Backbone, Handlebars
•Strong debugging & profiling skills
•Design, implement and test all aspects of the system
•Ability to work in short iterative development cycles with frequent feedback loops
•Strong Design skills and familiarity with the current industry best practices
Desired Qualifications:
•BS EE/CS or higher with at least 5 years of industry experience
•Jasmine, PhantomJS or other JS testing frameworks
•One or more of Spring, Tomcat, Apache, Django
•Solid understanding of HTTP and REST
•Excellent team player
•Excellent communication skills
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills
•Familiarity with Network Management Systems (NMS) & Network Visibility systems
