Job Title :  Linux Admin

Location:  Des Moines Iowa

Duration:  6 plus Months

Must have: 7 to 10 years of actual hands on enterprise level Operations Sr Red Hat Linux System/server administration 24/7 support.

Advance Shell scripting SH, CSH, KSH, Bash.

Advance DNS, DHCP, Network Troubleshooting/configuration. They do not need to know how to configure a router, but must thoroughly understand network protocols, packet constitution, snooping, firewalls rules, beyond conceptual/basics.

Must be able/willing to own problems and troubleshoot them through fruition on their own and with very little supervision.

Team player

Good Interpersonal skills

Plus/desirable:

Other UNIX/Linux OS flavors

Red Hat Certified

Vmware skills

Storage skills Netapp

Zimbra Mail

Veritas file system

Any type of clustering experience Veritas,

Event Monitoring systems with Nagios and trending with CACTI
