Job Title: Python Developer / Systems Administrator
Location: Arlington, VA
Duration: 2-6 Months (depending on performance)
Start Jan 6th. Phone Interview Dec 28th!!!!
This position offers the opportunity to showcase your skills of design and development while working on enhancements of our current products as well as new products and technologies.
Required Skills:
Demonstrated ability with bash, Python or other scripting languages.
Zero to four years of industry programming experience.
Python/Django/Apache/SQL/PSQL experience, or Similar.
Development building commercial software applications for enterprise level customers, A plus.
Prior development of applications that run on multiple operating systems.
Experience with linux a must and windows a benefits
Understanding of virtualization (Vmware,Xen,KVM) Strongly desired.
Developing solutions for virtual environments, a plus
Previous experience with source control (SVN,GIT), Languages (Python required, Shell, C/C++, Java,Perl are a plus)
Experiencing administering a linux system a plus
Good coding and documentation practices.
Consistent and through, The desire to go the ectra mile
BS in computer science or a related field.
Must work well on your own and as a team
Excellent Written and verbal skills.
