Job Description
The User Experience (UX) Designer /Front-End Developer will:
Design Skills / Knowledge
- Create high-level and/or detaileduser interface specifications consisting of deliverables such as wireframes,navigation designs, user flows, user interaction rules, and working prototypesto effectively communicate design ideas from concept through final design
- Design user interfaces with thegoal of optimizing and enhancing user efficiency, effectiveness, andsatisfaction
- Assist in the front-endimplementation of product solutions and enhancements
- Successfully communicateconceptual ideas, design rationale, potential usability challenges, and detailsof the UX design process to team members and clients
- Define solutions from the user'sperspective while effectively balancing business goals, technical constraintsand project objectives
- Document, communicate, andadvocate design solutions through dialogue with internal staff, written andverbal presentations, and UI specifications
- Work within establishedstandards, guidelines, and paradigms for existing applications

- Provide user experience directionand support across multiple projects and applications
- Actively communicate status andissues to UX Lead and Project Managers
- Assist in socializing the userexperience team's activities, roles, and responsibilities to both technical andnon-technical groups within the organization
- Assist in socializing front-enddevelopment best practices
- Participate in the gatheringand/or validation of user requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience
- Strong knowledge of userinterface and functional design
- Strong knowledge of HTML5,CSS3, and Javascript
- Experience with front-end JSframeworks & libraries (extJS, jQuery, jQuery UI, Ember, etc.)
- Superb communication skills (verbal,written, and presentation)
- Able to work independently andcollaboratively
- Demonstrated knowledge of Visioand Photoshop
